Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mutton chest bones 1/2 kg
  2. Chana dal 1 cup
  3. Onions 5
  4. Tomatoes 3
  5. Tamarind pulp
  6. Bottle guard 1,1 small yam ,potatoes 3
  7. Coconut paste 1/2 bowl
  8. Pudina and coriander leaves handful
  9. Green chillies 3
  10. Turmeric 1 /4 teaspoon
  11. Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  12. Dhania powder 2 tbsp
  13. Salt as required
  14. Oil 1/2cup
  15. Whole garam masala few
  16. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the dal for an hour
  2. Then add the dal in a cooker add few drops of oil add water and boil till it's done
  3. In a wide pressure cooker add oil when it's heated add whole garam masala and finely chopped onions
  4. Saute till it turns into a golden brown colour
  5. Now add gg paste and saute it for 2 mts then add mutton chest bones and saute
  6. Now add masala powders and chopped tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy
  7. Now add green chillies pudina and coriander leaves and salt saute it for few mts add some water and cook for 7 to 9 whistles
  8. After the bones are cooked add the diced vegetables tamarind pulp and coconut paste and boiled and mashed chanadal
  9. Adjust the consistency with little water check for the seasoning and cook for 3 whistles
  10. Serve it with ghee rice r maids rotis
