ABOUT Little millet chilly and lime brownies RECIPE

Delicious, healthy, little millets flour dark chocolate brownies which are gooey on the inside, flaky on the outside, and have just enough heat from the red chilly flakes and slight tang from the lime makes these totally exciting and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Little millet flour 60g
  2. Eggs 2
  3. Cane sugar 80g
  4. Dark chocolate 120g
  5. Butter 50g
  6. Lime zest of 2 lime
  7. Lime juice 1 tablespoon
  8. Dried red chillies 4

Instructions

  1. Double boil the butter and chocolate or microwave it for 30 seconds. Mix both together to form a chocolate sauce.
  2. Dry roast the dried red chillies on a low heat for few minutes till the chillies are crispy.
  3. Grind it when it comes to room temperature.
  4. Beat the eggs till light and fluffy. Add the sugar and beat till creamy.
  5. Mix the lime juice, lime zest and the chilly powder.
  6. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture, mix well.
  7. Fold in the little millet flour. Do not over mix.
  8. Pour in a parchment lined cake tin and bake at 160-170 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
