This recipe of mine is very delicious with kutu and singhars flour and can be taken during fasts

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Potatoes 4 medium size
  2. Bottle guard 200 gram
  3. Green chillies 2..3
  4. Rock salt to taste
  5. Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Kutu flour 150 gram
  8. Singhara flour 100 gram
  9. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel potatoes into small pieces
  2. Peel and cut roundals of bottle guard
  3. Chopped green chillies finely
  4. Mix both the flours
  5. Add salt , cumin seeds and pepper powder
  6. Add water to make a smooth batter
  7. Add chopped green chillies
  8. Keep oil in a vok on medium heat
  9. Dip potatoes and bottle guard in batter and deep fry till crispy
  10. Serve hot with curd and green chutney
