Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 250 gms of Raw Rice
  2. 175-200 gms Jaggery
  3. 2 cardamon pods
  4. 100-150 ml of water
  5. 100 gms of white Sesame seeds
  6. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the raw rice for an hour
  2. Drain the rice after an hour
  3. Dry it on white towel in shade for 1/2 hr
  4. Take a blender add rice and cardamom pods
  5. Blend it untill we get a fine flour
  6. Seive the flour
  7. Take a heavy bottom pan and add jaggery and water
  8. Now start making the syrup
  9. Here we shud keep a mandatory consistency for this recipe
  10. Take a bowl of water
  11. Continuesly Stir the jaggery syrup
  12. When we get a honey like texture in the syrup
  13. We should check the consistency
  14. Put a table spoon of jaggery syrup in water
  15. Now make a tomato like structure in water
  16. If your syrup moulds like tomato texture in water
  17. Then your syrup is ready
  18. Now add little by little amount of syrup in the flour
  19. At first we obtain like a thick cake like batter
  20. Keep this cover it with a towel for 24 hrs
  21. So we have it wait for 24 hrs more for the consistency
  22. After 24 hrs it turns to a roti dough consistency
  23. Now a banana leaf apply some oil to yours hands and leaf
  24. Now make lemon sized balls and dip it in sesame seeds
  25. And make the ball and press them in circle on the leaf
  26. Once you had done it then deep fry them in medium flame
