Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. White thin Poha flakes 1 cup
  2. Tapioca flour 1/4 cup
  3. Foxtail millet flour 2 tablespoons
  4. Water chestnut flour 1/2 cup
  5. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  6. Rabri with dry fruits ( sweetened ) 1 cup
  7. Heavy cream 2 tablespoons
  8. Whole milk 1.5 cup or as required
  9. Honey 2 tablespoons
  10. Ghee 2 teaspoons
  11. Baking soda a pinch
  12. Ghee for shallow frying 6 tablespoons
  13. Rabri 2 cups for serving along with Malpuas

Instructions

  1. In a mixer grinder , add thin Poha flakes and powder into a fine Powder .
  2. Sift the Poha flour and transfer it a bowl .
  3. Add tapioca flour .
  4. Add the millet flour .
  5. Add water chestnut flour .
  6. Add baking soda .
  7. Start adding the sweetened Rabri .
  8. Add vanilla essence .
  9. Add honey .
  10. Then followed by milk gradually .
  11. Keep whisking the flours until smooth lump free thick batter achieved .
  12. Finally add 2 teaspoons ghee.
  13. Mix all to a fluffy batter .
  14. Heat ghee in a pan for shallow frying . Deep frying can also be done is preferred .
  15. Pour 1/4 ladle batter on the hot ghee .
  16. Flip and fry both sides in medium flame .
  17. Healthy creamy yummy Malpuas are ready .
  18. Serve with Rabri .
