Wash and soak Green moong along with rice for atleast 6 to 8 hrs or until doubled in size.
Later drain the water and grind them into slightly coarse paste adding as little water as possible.
Now scoop the paste into a mixing bowl.
Next add the chopped onions, Ginger, scallions, coriander, curry leaves, Coriander seeds, crushed green chillies and salt.
Give this a good stir until well incorporated.
Now start heating up the oil for deep frying the fritters.
Drop in a spoonful of batter at a time like bhajiyas into the hot oil.
Fry them on medium high heat until golden on all the sides.
Later remove and drain on a paper towel and serve them hot with ketchup, green chutney or authentic Allam pachadi.
Crispy exteriors with softer interiors are definitely a crowd pleaser. Make and enjoy.
