Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Barnyard rice 1 cup
  2. Salt
  3. Oil 2 tsp
  4. curry leaves
  5. Tomato 1
  6. Peas 1/2 cup
  7. Potato 1
  8. Onion 1
  9. Grated carrot 1
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  12. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  13. chilli powder 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves
  2. Add chopped onion, carrot, potato, tomato,peas and saute it for 5 to 10 min
  3. Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute it
  4. Add 2 cup water and allow to boil it
  5. Add Washed barnyard rice and mix well
  6. Cook for 10 to 15 min on medium flame
  7. Add coriander leaves
