ABOUT Tomato Tango Chutney RECIPE

Chutney made with tomato,cranberry and lemon juice.Tomatoes and cranberries give it a sweet taste whereas lemon gives it a tangy taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2-3 large tomatoes
  2. 1/4 cup cranberry
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1/2 cup sugar
  5. 1 slice lemon
  6. 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  7. 1/4 tsp coriander chopped
  8. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  9. 2-3 tsp olive oil
  10. 1 green chilly
  11. 1/4 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilly powder

Instructions

  1. Take oil in a flat pan.Add salt,mustard seeds and green chilly.
  2. Add the tomato pieces,add Kashmiri red chilly powder.
  3. Cook on medium flame covered for 3/4 minutes,till the tomato melts.
  4. Add ginger paste,coriander chopped and half cup water.Add sugar.
  5. Once it starts boiling,add 1/4 cup water and cook on medium flame.Add cranberries.
  6. Switch off the stove.
  7. Put lemon juice and serve.
