ABOUT Tuna Coleslaw Toast RECIPE

Smoked Tuna flakes canned in brine, Coleslaw with greens and tomatoes. Cut and fine blended with fish flakes. Filled in toasted bread. Great, light evening snack quick to set and serve.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 tin/can Tuna fish in brine
  2. 1 small tomato
  3. 1 cup shredded cabbage
  4. 1 cup shredded capsicum
  5. 1 small tomato
  6. 100 gms Garlic Mayo Fun foods
  7. 1 spring onion
  8. Butter as required
  9. 6 slices brown bread

Instructions

  1. Remove fish from the brine and keep in a bowl.
  2. Drain and dry out any liquid in the fish.
  3. Add chopped vegetables of choice, I took tomato, cabbage, capsicum and spring onion.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix in the mayo, to make the filling.
  6. Toast breads in a toaster or in an OTG, butter them lightly
  7. Place the ready filling, spread well cover with another toast to form a sandwich.
  8. Cut and serve fresh.
