ABOUT Mac and cheese Cutlet RECIPE

This recipe is complete make over of pasta .It is a good snack for parties and can be prepared in advance except frying part

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 cup macaroni pasta boiled
  2. 1 tbsp Butter
  3. 1 tbsp Butter
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 1 cup grated cheese (mix of mozrella.proceesed cheddar)
  6. Salt and pepper to taste
  7. 1 tbsp dried herbs
  8. 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  9. Slurry of Maida and water
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan add butter and flour and cook till rawness of flour goes off without changing its colour.
  2. To this add milk,chilli flakes salt and pepper,cheese herbs and cook.
  3. Now add boiled macaroni to this.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Now set this mixture in a lined tin in freezer for 2 hrs.
  6. Cur in desired shape
  7. Prepare thick slurry of Maida and flour
  8. Dip frozen mac n.cheese pieces in prepared slurry. Coat with cornflour
  9. Keep coated cutlets in fridge for 30 mins
  10. Heat oil.
  11. Now fry chilled cutlets in medium hot oil till crisp
