Sriracha Cream Sauce Pasta

ABOUT Sriracha Cream Sauce Pasta RECIPE

Casarecce pasta cooked in spicy hot sriracha sauce.Milk and cream is used to make sauce creamy and it also helps to adjust the spiciness of sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Olive oil 2Tbsp
  2. Chopped onion 1Medium size
  3. Salt 1/4Tsp
  4. Black pepper as per taste
  5. Garlic cloves, minced 2No
  6. Diced tomatoes 3 cups
  7. Tomato sauce 2 cups
  8. Sriracha sauce (more or less to taste) 1/4 cup
  9. Dried oregano 1Tsp
  10. Milk 2/3cup
  11. Cream 1/3 cup
  12. Uncooked pasta 250 gms
  13. Salt 1Tsp
  14. Parmesan cheese grated 1/3 cup
  15. Shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Add enough water to a deep pan to cover the pasta, along with 1 teaspoon of salt. 
  2. Bring the water to a boil and add the pasta. 
  3. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  4. Drain the pasta and put it back into the pot.
  5. In a small bowl add milk and cream and mix well.Keep aside for later use.
  6. Add the olive oil to a pan over medium heat. 
  7. When hot, add the onion, salt and black pepper
  8. Cook until the onion is translucent or for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Add the garlic and cook for a minute,taking care not to burn it.
  10. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Sriracha and oregano to the pan.
  11. Simmer the mixture, stirring in between, for about 15 minutes.
  12. Turn off the heat and add milk cream mixture .Mix well.
  13. Preheat oven at 190*C for 10 minutes.
  14. Lightly grease 5 baking ramekins with oil and keep aside.
  15. Add 2/3 cup of the sauce to the pasta, along with the Parmesan cheese, and mix well.
  16. Spoon the mixture into each of the baking ramekins, just to the top. 
  17. Divide the remaining sauce between each and pour it over the top of the pasta.
  18. Divide the mozzarella cheese and sprinkle it on top of the pasta.
  19. Place the ramekins on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  20. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving.
  21. Enjoy hot, spicy,creamy pasta.
