ABOUT Pasta In Red And White Sauce ! RECIPE

This recipe is one of those recipes that gets made really quick and satisfies you well. Penne pasta tossed in a mix of creamy white and tangy tomato sauces – finishes with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Colourful capsicums, vibrant broccoli and crunchy baby corn endow this dish with a splash of colours, which is pretty to behold and tempting to bite into! Wonderfully flavoured with spices and herbs, the Pasta in Red and White Sauce is a real delight to devour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Cups Penne Pasta ( Boiled )
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. Amul butter
  4. 1 tsp plain flour
  5. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  6. 2 Tomatoes Puree ( Boiled, Peeled and Pureed )
  7. 1 Cup Bell Pepper - chopped (Red, Green, Yellow )
  8. Baby Corns, thinly sliced
  9. 1 Zucchini - chopped
  10. 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  11. 1 tbsp Garlic - chopped
  12. 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato sauce
  13. few basil leaves
  14. 2 tbsp cheese
  15. 1/2 tsp Dry oregano
  16. Garnishing Fresh Parsley
  17. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Making the White Sauce :- In a pan, heat some butter.
  2. Add the plain flour to it and cook for a few seconds.
  3. Once it changes the color slightly, add the milk. Keep whisking and bring it to a boil. Cook it until it's thick. Add salt and Pepper to taste.
  4. Once the sauce is thick, get it off the flame.
  5. In another pan, heat some butter.
  6. Once the butter melts, add the chopped onion and let it cook for a few seconds.
  7. Add the garlic paste, chopped capsicum and zucchini ( other veggies ) and let them cook for a few seconds.
  8. Add the tomato pulp to the above ingredients and let it cook for at least 7 - 8 minutes.
  9. Add the ketchup, fresh basil leaves, dried oregano and red chili flakes and stir well. Let it cook for sometime.
  10. Add some water and stir.
  11. Add the white sauce to the above ingredients and mix well.
  12. Add the cheese and salt and mix well.
  13. If necessary add some water to the sauce.
  14. Add the boiled Penne pasta to the sauce and stir well.
  15. The delicious pasta is ready to be served.
  16. Garnish with Parsley and this Delicious Pasta is ready to eat.
