Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cups puffed rice
  2. 1 onion finely chopped
  3. 1 medium sized tomato finely chopped
  4. 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  5. 1/2 cucumber finely chopped
  6. 1/2 raw mango finely chopped
  7. Few ground nuts fried
  8. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  9. 1/2 cup sev
  10. Finely chopped coriander leaves
  11. For green chutney
  12. 1/2 bunch coriander leaves
  13. 1/2 bunch Mint leaves
  14. 1 green chili
  15. 1 small piece Ginger
  16. 2 garlic cloves
  17. 1 tbsp fried gram dal
  18. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  19. 1 tbsp sugar
  20. For tamarind dates chutney
  21. 1 cup boiled deseeded dates pureed
  22. 1 small lemon sided ball of tamarind
  23. 1/2 tsp chili powder
  24. 1/2 tsp Salt
  25. 3/4 cup grated jaggery
  26. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  27. 1/2 tsp fennel powder

Instructions

  1. First we will make chutney. For green chutney grind everything mentioned under the green chutney ingredients list and keep aside
  2. For dates and tamarind chutney. Remove pulp from tamarind and mix it with dates puree. Add water jaggery, chili powder, salt, roasted cumin powder, fennel powder and mix well. Boil this mixture nicely. Let it cool.
  3. Next in bowl add in puffed riced chopped onions,cucumber,raw mango,chilies,coriander leaves,tomatoes and mix well.
  4. Add both chutneys 3 tbsp each and mix well.
  5. Remove in serving dish and add finely chopped coriander leaves and add sev from top
