Papad is loved by everyone,especially all Sindhi's.Papad is my all-time favorite.my husband is always left papad and i stored it in airtight container.And so when you feel lazy and want to eat yummy food,then papad curry is a great option.For lunch, it's the best option to make in summers,especially because it's very easy to make. My family likes this sabji with hot chapattis...

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Leftover papad-8
  2. Curd/yogurt- 4 tablespoon
  3. Gram flour/besan-1 and 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Oil/ghee- 2 tablespoon
  5. Garlic, chopped or crushed- 1 teaspoon
  6. Mustard seeds- 1 teaspoon
  7. Cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
  8. Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon 
  9. Red chili powder- 1 teaspoon
  10. Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt, as required
  12. Asafoetida- 1/4 teaspoon
  13. Coriander leaves for garnish
  14. Lemon juice,as needed
  15. Water,as required

Instructions

  1. Roast or microwave the papads again.I cook on tawa and apply some oil on it.
  2. In a bowl, add yogurt and water and whisk it nicely.Now,add gram flour,some salt,turmeric powder, red chili powder,and coriander powder.
  3. Mix all the ingredients nicely,and keep aside.
  4. Now,take a pan and add ghee or oil, and add mustard seeds,cumin seeds,and asafetida. Sauté it for a second and add garlic and saute for another second.
  5. On the low flame,add the yogurt mixture in a pan and stir it constantly.
  6. Now,add some water and cook till the oil separates.
  7. Then,add leftover papad pieces and mix well.
  8. Allow this to cook for 6 to 10 minutes,and add lemon juice.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
