ABOUT Leftover Chocolate Cake Trifle Pudding RECIPE

A delicious pudding with a layer of chocolate cake with fruity jelly layer and creamy vanilla custard and tangy lemon sauce on top with Sabza seeds and chocolate chips

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1)Leftover chocolate cake 500 gms
  2. 2)Custard layer
  3. Custard powder 4tbsp
  4. Vanilla essence 1/2tsp
  5. Vanilla ice-cream 250 lt
  6. Sugar 6 tsp
  7. 3)Jelly layer
  8. Strawberry jelly 1pt
  9. Fruit cocktail 2cup
  10. 4)Lemon sauce layer
  11. Mango Tang 2tbsp
  12. Sabza seeds 2 tbsp
  13. Lemon juice 1tbsp
  14. Cornflour 2tbsp
  15. 5)Decoration
  16. Chocolate chips 3tbsp

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate cake into crumbs
  2. Put 2tbsp in a glass
  3. Prepare strawberry jelly as per instructions on packet
  4. Cut fruits into small piece
  5. Add in prepared jelly
  6. Pour little in each glass
  7. Heat milk and add custard powder dissolved in little water and cook till thick. Add vanilla essence and sugar. Switch off the gas when thick.. Now add vanilla ice-cream and let it melt
  8. Pour in the glass even if jelly not fully set. It gives a nice look from outside
  9. See the beautiful glass and taste good too
  10. Mix all the ingredients for the tangy lemony sauce and boil till thick
  11. Add Sabza seeds and let it swell
  12. Add few drops of yellow colour and add lemon juice
  13. When cool pour on top of custard layer and sprinkle chocolate chips on top
  14. Chill and serve
