ABOUT Masala Egg Curry RECIPE

Boiled eggs in a tasty curry.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 boiled eggs
  2. 1 medium sized onion
  3. 1 medium sized tomato
  4. Ginger
  5. garlic
  6. 1 green chilli
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  10. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  12. Salt to taste
  13. oil
  14. 1 Cup water
  15. Pinch of Kasuri methi

Instructions

  1. Chop onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli and grind together to make a smooth paste.
  2. Puree the tomatoes.
  3. Take a wok. Put oil and add cumin seeds as they start turning dark brown. Add the ground paste. Saute properly as colour becomes pink, add pureed tomato.
  4. Saute for sometime till the masala starts leaving the oil on the sides of wok.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix it well.
  6. Pour a little water and keep it at low flame for 2 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile put a vertical cut in edge. Take a pan add a little oil, add a pinch of red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and put the boiled eggs. Rotate the pan so that egg coated with masala.
  8. Put these eggs to the wok, saute for a minute and add some water.
  9. Boil the curry for 1 minute. Sprinkle Kasuri methi, tasty masala egg curry is ready.
