ABOUT Leftover Rice Thalipeeth RECIPE

Thalipeeth is tangy, spicy, savoury snack which is made with various grains which is called "Bhajani".

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup leftover rice
  2. 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cup besan
  4. 1/4 cup shredded carrot
  5. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  6. 1/2 tsp turmuric powder
  7. 1/2 tsp Dhana-jeera Powder
  8. 1/4 tsp hing
  9. Salt to taste
  10. oil

Instructions

  1. First coarsely griended leftover rice in a mixer
  2. Then added Whole Wheat Flour & Besan in same quantity and added shredded Carrot & mixed evrything well
  3. Then added Turmuric Powder, Red Chilly Powder, Dhana-jeera Powder, Hing, Salt to Teste n mixed all the mixture well
  4. Put Tawa on Gas to heated it up
  5. Took empty Milk Bag & put it on flat surface then took little dough & flattened it nicely with the help of hands.
  6. Put flattened Thalipeeth on hot Pan & spreaded oil around Thalipeeth n covered it with lid & shallow fried the Thalipeeth from both the sides on medium to low heat.
  7. Tasty spicy tangy " Leftover Rice Thalipeeth" is served with Tomato Sauce.
