ABOUT Leftover chapati samosa RECIPE

This is very delicious snack item. This samosa is made with leftover chapati and leftover aloo matar ki sabzi.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Left over chapati 3
  2. Boiled potato 2
  3. Green peas 3 tbsp
  4. Green chilli 1
  5. Ginger 1/2 inch piece
  6. Jeeea 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder 1 pinch
  8. Dhaniya powder 1tsp
  9. Garam masala 1tsp
  10. Green coriander
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Maida for slurry 1 tbsp
  13. Water as required
  14. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1. First of all cut the chapati into cone shape.
  2. 2. Take 1 tbsp maida and add little bit water and make the slurry.
  3. 3. Now apply slurry on the edge of piece of roti.
  4. 4. Fold it and make the cone and keep the cone aside and make other cones too.
  5. 5. Then heat the kadai and put some oil.
  6. 6. Add 1/2 tsp jeera, ginger and chopped green chili, then add boiled potatoes and green peas and mix it well.
  7. 7. Add pinch of haldi and 1 tsp dhaniya powder, 1tsp garam masala and 1 tsp red chili powder.
  8. 8. Let the potato mix cook for a while and then add chopped green coriander.
  9. 9. Let the stuff cool down.
  10. 10. Now take the chapati cone and fill the potato stuff.
  11. 11. Again apply slurry to close the mouth of the cone.
  12. 11. Prepare all the cones like this .
  13. 12. Now heat the oil and fry them on medium flame till it becomes golden brown and crisp.
  14. 13. Serve hot with green chutney and sauce.
