Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For pakora
  2. 250.gms amaranth leaves cleaned,washed and finely chopped
  3. 2 tbsp finely chopped Onion
  4. 1.cup besan
  5. Salt to.taste
  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 tsp carom seeds
  9. 1 tsp.green chilli .finely chopped
  10. 1 cup.mustard oil for frying
  11. For Kadhi
  12. 1/2 cup besan.
  13. 1 tbsp oil
  14. 1 cup curd or 2 cup butter milk
  15. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  16. Salt to taste
  17. For Tadka
  18. 1 tbsp.pure ghee
  19. 1 tsp finely chopped curry leaves
  20. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  21. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  22. 1/2.tsp asafoetida powder (hing)
  23. For chilli oil
  24. 1 tbsp ghee
  25. 1 tsp red chilli powder

Instructions

  1. First finely chop amaranth leaves and onion
  2. Now.mi .all.other ingredients of pakora except oil
  3. Heat oil.in.a.karahi
  4. Make balls out of besan mixture and fry.
  5. Now for.kadhi in a bowl mix curd besan and turmeric powder.
  6. Add oil to karahi. Sieve besan.curd mix to avoid lumps .
  7. Keep.stirring while cooking .
  8. Now add pakora to it and cook on low.flane for 20 mins.
  9. For tadka . Heat a tadka pan..To.this add ghee. Then add other ingredients.
  10. Add this to kadhi and.mix well.
  11. Now for chilli oil.. Heat ghee add red chilli powder and switch off .
  12. Garnish prepared kadhi with chilli oil and serve
