Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For katli- 1 bowl gramflour
  2. 1/2 spoon turmeric
  3. 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  4. 1 spoon ginger and garlic paste
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. For gravy - 1 onion chopped
  7. 2 spoon mustered seeds
  8. 1/2 spoon cumin
  9. 1/4 spoon black pepper
  10. 1 pod garlic
  11. 1 tomato chopped
  12. 1 spoon coriander powder
  13. 1/2 spoon turmeric powder
  14. 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  15. 1 spoon panchphoran
  16. Salt as per taste
  17. Oil as per needed
  18. 1 spoon chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. First make a thin batter of gramflour, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt and ginger - garlic paste with water.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom pan put 1 spoon oil .
  3. Put gramflour batter and cook for by stirring continuously.
  4. When batter become in thick consistency put down in greased plate and evenly spread.
  5. Let it set for 10 minutes then cut in diamond shape or as you wish.
  6. In a mixi jar put onion, musterd seeds, cumin, garlic, black pepper and tomato make fine paste.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry this katli.
  8. Heat other wok put 2 spoon oil add panchphoran when they splutter put grinded masala and fry them.
  9. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and saute them for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Now add 1 glass water and let it be boil.
  11. When gravy is boil than add fried besan katli cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on midium flame.
  12. Lastly add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  13. Serve with roti or rice.
