Melt-in-your-mouth Viennese Biscuits

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. soft butter 65 gms
  2. icing sugar 13 gms
  3. flour 65 gms
  4. corn flour 13 gms
  5. vanilla essence 2 drops

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a baking sheet and preheat oven to 190 degrees C.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Sieve the flour and corn flour together and gradually beat into the mixture, add vanilla essence and a little milk if mixture is difficult to beat.
  4. Put the mixture into a piping bag and using a star nozzle pipe 2 inch fingers on the baking tray.
  5. Leave space between each biscuits as they will spread.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Melt the chocolate and dip one end of each cooled biscuit in chocolate to cover half of biscuits and put on butter paper. Keep in fridge for 5 mins.
  9. Store in airtight tin.
