Yummy lauki kofta curry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lauki - 1 medium size
  2. Besan - 4 tablespoons
  3. Baking Soda - a pinch
  4. Turmeric - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
  5. Dhania powder - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder - as per taste + 1 tsp
  7. Garam Masala - half tsp
  8. Cashews - a few
  9. Fresh curd - as per the gravy needed
  10. Salt - as per taste
  11. Cooking Oil - for frying
  12. onions - two
  13. tomato - one
  14. coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Grate the lauki. Add dhaniya powder, red chilli powder, salt, baking soda and mix it without water.
  2. Deep fry the kofta. Keep it separately.
  3. Grind two onions, one tomato, five cashews, garam masala into a smooth paste.
  4. Add two tablespoon cooking oil. Add jeera. Then add masala. Now add one cup of fresh thick curd. Allow it to fry for 5 minutes. Add water.
  5. Add turmeric powder, dhaniya powder, red chilli powder and salt. Boil it on simmer for 5 more minutes.
  6. Add kofta and close it with a lid.
  7. While serving heat it again. Add water if required. Add fresh coriander leaves and relish with hot parantas
