Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Half kg petha
  2. 1 chopped onion
  3. 1 lemon juice
  4. 1/2 tea spoon methi seeds
  5. 1 tea spoon sugar
  6. 1 tea spoon hing
  7. 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
  8. 2 tea spoon dhaniya powder
  9. Chopped green coriander leaves
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1.5 tea spoon red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tea spoon amchur powder
  13. 2 table spoon oil

Instructions

  1. Cut pumpkin in small pieces
  2. Take oil in kadai, add hing, methi seeds let it flutter
  3. Add chopped onion n saute till golden brown
  4. Add pumpkin, put all the masala and mix well
  5. Cover it and let it cook till it becomes soft
  6. Add sugar , amchur powder, lemon juice and mix well
  7. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves
  8. Khatta meetha petha ready to eat with paranthe, Puri n raita
