ABOUT Instant jalebi RECIPE

A crispy and juicy jalebi which never become soggy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Urad dal powder 1/4 cup
  3. ENO 11/2 teaspoon
  4. Ghee 2 tbspn
  5. sugar 2 cup
  6. Rose water 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Food colour orange
  8. water
  9. Nuts

Instructions

  1. Mixing dry ingredients : Mix maida ,urad dal powder,ENO and ghee well until it is uniformly mixed well.
  2. Sugar syrup : Add sugar , water to cover sugar ,rose water and food colour.Boil it until it is just thick.
  3. Batter : Mix the jalebi mix with little water to get a very thick batter.
  4. Making jalebi : Heat oil in medium flame.Transfer the batter to a sauce bottle or a piping bag and squeeze to oil.Fry until crisp and transfer immediately to the syrup .Dont wait to remove the oil transfer immediately to syrup and sink it with a ladder.
  5. serving : jalebi should rest in syrup for 5 mins and drain excess of syrup and serve with nuts.
