Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup of desiccated coconut
  2. 1/2 cup of mango pulp
  3. 1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  4. 1/4 cup of milk powder
  5. 2 teaspoon of ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and dry roast the desiccated coconut on a medium flam for 4-5 minutes
  2. Once the coconut is roasted transfer it to a separate bowl and set aside
  3. Heat the same pan and add a teaspoon of ghee , condensed milk and milk powder and mix it well
  4. Once the condensed milk and ghee is combined add the mango pulp and roasted desiccated coconut and combine it together
  5. After 5-8 minutes of cooking the moisture evaporated and starts to thicken, in this stage at the remaining 1 teaspoon of ghee
  6. Once the peda attains the stage of not sticking to the pan remove it from heat and allow it to cool down a bit
  7. Start shaping the peda’s when it is still warm. Take a small portion of the peda, roll it and press it with thumb finger in the center
  8. Garnish the coconut peda’s with any nuts of your choice and enjoy
