Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil 4 tbsp
  2. basmati rice 2cup
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 1 TOMATO CHOPPED
  5. 1/2 capsicum chopped
  6. 1/2 carrot medium sized chopped
  7. 3 tbsp peas
  8. 1/2 inch cinnamon
  9. 1 cardamom crushed
  10. 1/2 tsp Cumin
  11. 1bay leaf
  12. 4-5 cloves
  13. 2tbsp red chilli sauce
  14. 3-4 cloves of garlic crushed
  15. rajma beans 1cup
  16. 4 cups water for pressure cooker
  17. 1 finely chopped onion
  18. 1 tomato deseeded
  19. 1/2cup tomato puree
  20. 1/2 capsicum chopped
  21. 1 green chilli chopped
  22. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  23. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  24. oregano
  25. Thyme
  26. 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
  27. 1/2 cup water
  28. Coriander leaves
  29. left over chapati
  30. Salt

Instructions

  1. take 4 tbsp oil in big pan add basmati rice into it make sure rice are drained off.
  2. roast rice until golden brown
  3. take all dry spices and prepare powder from it
  4. add onion, tomato,capsicum,carrot,peas and add all spices powder form and garlic and bay leaf and sauté all for 5 mins until aroma comes.
  5. add 4 cups of water and salt to taste let it cook 80%.
  6. now add chilli sauce and let it cook completely and serve hot with beans and chips
  7. soak rajma beans overnight and wash properly. pressure cooker rajma with salt for 5-6 whistles.
  8. take a pan and add oil add chopped garlic, onion , deseeded tomato, capsicum and green chilli.
  9. add all the spices and let it cook for 5 mins.
  10. now add tomato purée and add salt and let it cook.
  11. now add tomato sauce and sprinkle coriander. serve hot with rice and chips
  12. now take left over chapati and cut in long vertical sections and fry it in a pan and serve with rice and beans
