ABOUT Coco Dates Bar RECIPE

In this recipe, I am using Orio biscuits without cream as an ingredients for the sweet. Normally biscuits are not used in any sweet but since my younger brother loves orio biscuits. So I have used it. It is perfect recipe for Diwali parties.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. A) For Making Coco-Dates Bar
  2. 2 Cup Date Pieces
  3. 1 Cup Figs
  4. 1/2 cup almonds
  5. 1/2 cup cashews
  6. 1/2 Cup Dry Coconut Powder
  7. 1 Cup Butter (Here I am using pure Cow's Ghee)
  8. 4-5 Piece Orio Biscuits

Instructions

  1. First of all remove seeds from date piece and chop finely.
  2. Also chop figs finely.
  3. Now remove the cream from the orio biscuits and crush it.
  4. After that chop almonds and cashews finely.
  5. Now heat the butter/ghee in broad non-stick pan/Aluminium pan.
  6. After Ghee/Butter gets melted add finely chopped dates.
  7. Now stir continues butter and date on medium flame until it gets mixed.
  8. After stirring 10-15 minutes the chopped dates gets melted. (Stir continuously so the mixture doesn't stick on the pan).
  9. Now add finely chopped fig (Anjir) in to it and stir continuously for 5-8 minutes.
  10. After that add crushed Orio biscuits and mix it properly.
  11. Now add dry coconut powder and mix it well.
  12. After that add finely chopped almonds and cashews and mix it properly.
  13. Stir the mixture for 5-10 minutes on middle flame.
  14. After that turn off the flame.
  15. Let the mixture cool down. (Keep it little hot so mixture gets into any shape easily)
  16. Now make medium balls from the mixture and dip the balls in Dry Coconut Powder.
  17. And sprinkle some dry coconut powder on to it.
  18. Garnish it with finely chopped figs and pieces of almonds. (As shown in my recipe image)
  19. Now Coco-Dates Bars are ready to be served.
