ABOUT Coconut Gulabi Phirni.. RECIPE

A traditional North Indian dessert called Phirni, have added desiccated coconut to it and dried rose petals.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. I litre milk, 1/4 cup rice soaked for 1 hour, Sugar 14-15 tsp, desiccated Coconut 3/4 cup, dried rose petals 2 tbsp, vanilla essence 1/2 tsp, rose col 1/4 tsp.

Instructions

  1. Grind the rice to a smooth paste. Boil milk and reduce the flame n let it boil for 5-10 minutes. Add sugar while flame is slow. Add the rice paste and boil till you get the thick consistency. Switch off the gas and add coconut, essence and color. Set in seperate bowls and refrigerate till sets. Serve chilled..
