Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup moong dal
  2. Salt as per taste
  3. Wheat flour 1/4 cup
  4. Coriander leaves 1/8 cup
  5. Green chili 2
  6. Ginger 1 inch grated
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak dal for 2 hours in water. Drain excess water. Grind to smooth paste
  2. Pulse coriander leaves,green chili and ginger for 2 second in mixer
  3. Add the mixture to dal paste with salt and flour. Mix well
  4. Add 2 teaspoon hot oil and whisk for 2 minutes
  5. Heat oil in a wok. Dampen cloth. Spread 1 teaspoon batter , flatten with fingers
  6. Drop it in hot oil. Deep fry until golden brown. Do until dal mixture is completed
  7. Serve hot with chutney
