Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 kg potatoes
  2. 8-10 Garlic Cloves
  3. 2 --tbsp green chillies ginger paste
  4. 1/2 cup Corainder leaves finely chopped
  5. 1 Lemon juice
  6. Salt to taste
  7. For Batter
  8. 1 cup Besan
  9. 1/4tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1 pinch Asafoetida ( hing)
  11. 1pinch Soda bi carb
  12. 1 tbsp oil (to be added to batter)
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Oil for Deep FRYING

Instructions

  1. Boil, peel and mash roughly Potatoes
  2. Add roughly crushed garlic, green chillies ginger paste, chopped coriander leaves,salt,lemon juice.Mix well.
  3. Take a lemon size portion from Prepare mixture..make flat round wadas from it.
  4. Prepare Batter..by mixing Besan,red chilli powder,salt, Asafoetida, with water.. medium constitency.
  5. Keep oil in Kadhai for heating..on Medium flame...
  6. Add a pinch of Soda bi carb in besan batter..mix..add dip Prepared Garlic Potato wada..in batter..
  7. Drop one by one in hot oil..fry them both sides..till golden brown.
  8. Prepare all Khapoli Batata Wada in Similar manner.Relish hot with Red garlic Chutney..and slit green chillies.
