ABOUT Baked Pasta RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grams - Pasta
  2. 150gm- grated cheese
  3. 3 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  4. 1 - large onion, sliced
  5. 1 - large tomato, chopped
  6. 1- Capsicum, chopped
  7. 1 cup corn kernels
  8. 2 tbsp - Butter
  9. 3 tbsp - flour
  10. 1 cup - Milk
  11. salt to taste
  12. 1 tsp - pepper powder
  13. 1 tsp - red chilli flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling water until soft. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and saute the onions for 10 mins. Add the capsicum, Add the tomatoes , Add the corn kernels and cook on low heat for 5 mins.
  3. In the meantime, mix the flour and milk together until smooth. Add this to the onions and tomatoes and mix well.
  4. When the mixture thickens, add salt, pepper, red chill flakes , 3 tbsp of grated cheese, tomato sauce and pasta and mix well
  5. Remove from the heat and transfer to a buttered baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for 15-20 mins.
  7. Serve with corn salad.
