ABOUT Mustard and Cucumber Yogurt Raita RECIPE

This is a dip that goes well with pakoda's , paratha's or i relish eating it just like that. The cucumber crush and mustard flavour goes well together

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cucumber grated
  2. 2 cup yogurt
  3. 1 tsp sugar
  4. 2 tsp Mustard seeds
  5. 2 green chillies
  6. 2 tsp coriander leaves
  7. 1 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take yogurt in a bowl and add salt, sugar, cumin powder and whisk.
  2. Take green chilly , coriander leaves, salt , sugar, mustard seeds and make a paste in mortar pestle.
  3. Transfer this paste in yogurt along with the grated cucumber and mix it well.
  4. Keep it at room temperature for 5 minutes so the yogurt absorbs mustard flavour and then refrigderate to chill.
  5. Serve chilled with pakoda, or eat just like that.
