ABOUT MONSOON SNACK PLATTER RECIPE

This dish includes everything made using yogurt as one of the main ingredient. The platter has Rawa aloo bonda , rawa cheese balls, rawa fritters, rawa kachori.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup rawa
  2. 2 boiled potato
  3. 1 onion chopped
  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 5 curry leaves
  6. 2 cube cheese
  7. 2 cup curd
  8. 2 tsp coriander leaves
  9. 1 tsp gram flour
  10. 1 tsp green chilly chopped
  11. 1 tsp cumin powder
  12. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  14. 1 pinch cooking soda
  15. 1-2 tsp salt to taste
  16. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. For making batter take rawa , curd, soda, some salt and make dough. Keep it to rest.
  2. For filling - take oil in a pan , add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add onions , chilly and some salt. When it shrinks add ginger garlic paste.
  3. Mash boiled potato and transfer it to the pan. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cumin powder. Mix well. Cover for 5 minutes and keep it aside.
  4. For kachori -Now divide it into small portions. Make a ball and stuff some cheese into it. Take the dough and cover the potato filling. Press it and give shape of a kachori. Roll it into some dry rawa and deep fry till golden brown. Remove on a tissue paper.
  5. For Aloo bonda- take the rawa mix and add some water, and 1 tsp gram flour. Make small balls with the potato filling mixture and deep in the batter. Deep fry until golden brown and remove on a tisdure paper.
  6. For cheese balls - cut cheese cube into small cubes. Take the rawa dough and add little water to form thick batter. Dip cheese cubes in batter and deep fry until golden brown. Remoce on a tissue paper.
  7. For fritters: mix some onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and stir. When oil is hot make bhajiya / fritters and deep fry it till golden brown.Remove on a tissue paper.
  8. Now foe plating take all food items on a plate and serve hot any chutney. Garnish with mint leaves and black sesame seeds.
