ABOUT AMRAKHAND DESSERT RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 500 gms Curd
  2. 3-4 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  3. 1 mango , chopped
  4. Few strands of Saffron
  5. 1 chocolate cookie
  6. 1/4 cup chopped mangoes
  7. 1 tbsp strawberry crush
  8. Mint sprig for garnishing

Instructions

  1. For making hung curd
  2. Put the curd in a soft muslin cloth
  3. Fold it from all the sides
  4. Place this on a big strainer
  5. Place the strainer on a big bowl
  6. Now keep this bowl in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours
  7. After 6 hours all the extra water from the curd will come out
  8. The portion which remains is hing curd
  9. In a mixer jar put mango pieces
  10. Grind it into a smooth paste
  11. Strain it so that no fibres are remain
  12. A smooth mixture of mango is ready
  13. All the ingredients are ready hung curd , powdered sugar , mango pulp and saffron
  14. Strain the hung curd in the mango pulp mixture
  15. Mix them well
  16. Add powdered sugar and blend well
  17. Add saffron strands
  18. Keep this in the refrigerator for an hour
  19. Then mix nicely , a lovely colour will appear , amrakhand is ready
  20. For assembling take a glass and first put crushed cookie
  21. Then add some ready amrakhand
  22. Then put some chopped mango pieces
  23. Now sprinkle some strawberry crush
  24. Again put some amrakhand on top
  25. Garnish with mint sprig
  26. Keep the ready glass in the refrigerator for two hours , then arrange the ready glass in a serving plate along with mango decoration
  27. Serve chilled , garnish with some chopped mango pieces
