Ingredients Serving: 4
4 tbsp Fresh Grated coconut
3 tbsp mawa
4 tbsp cashew nut paste (made from 10 raw cashew nut and 1/4bowl cow milk)
8 to 10 tbsp Sugar free Powder
1 tbsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp cow Ghee
Dry grated Coconut, some almonds, pomegranate grains, chopped Pistachios
Ingredients for stuffings:-
2 tbsp mawa
Some chopped raisins.
2 tbsp Sugar free Powder.
1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
Instructions
Put a non stick pan over the gas, heat it and add a spoonful of ghee.
Once Ghee becomes warm, add fresh grated coconut.And saute it on low flame for 3 to 4minutes
Roast coconut lightly and put mawa in it and saute it well on low flame.
After this add cashew nut paste and mix it well with spoon and saute for 2 min
After this add cardamom powder one tbsp and add 8 to 10 teaspoons (use Sugar free spoon) of sugar free powder.And mix it well with a spoon.
Saute it well with spoon on low film until it leaves ghee.
Take it out in a plate.
Now prepare the staffing of Modak. Take 2tbsp of Mawa in a bowl. Add chopped raisins and cardamom powder and 2 tbsp Sugar free Powder.
Make a medium size ball with a mixture of Mawa.
Take a polythene on rolling board and apply a little beat of ghee on polythene. Keep Mawa's ball on it.Cover it with polythene. And give it a round shape with the help of rolling pin.
Cut it into a round shape with the help of a bowl
Now fill the staffing inside and with the help of hand give it the shape of a modak.you can use Modak mole also for giving the shape.
Now our modak is ready, keep it in a plate and garnish with the pomegranate grain, dry grated Coconut and dry fruits.you can use Modak mole also for giving the shape of Modak.
