ABOUT Brain Masala RECIPE

One of the favourites at Eid time is Bheja/Brain masala.doing a a gud oniontomato ginver garlic masala and adding par boiled brain with salt and turmeric .Its parboiled so as to also cleanse it of its odour and then cooked as you prefer.Spice it up as per choice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 pieces Goat Brain
  2. 1 big onion
  3. 1 big ripe tomato
  4. 1tblspn ginger garlic paste
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1tsln garam masala
  7. 1/4tsp pepper
  8. 1tspn kaahmiri chilli powder
  9. 1tspn turmeric
  10. 1tspn cummin corriander powder
  11. Green chilli ootional to add
  12. 2 tblspn ghee

Instructions

  1. Wash clean brain pieces clearing carefully veins seen
  2. After cleaning apply 0turmeric salt and 1tspn ginger garlic paste well
  3. Keep to boil cook for 5-8 minutes
  4. Cover cook for 5-8 min adding half cup water on slow flame
  5. Heat a pan ,add oil to stir fry onions
  6. Add remaining ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and all dry spices
  7. Mix saute well all ,add 1/2cup water
  8. Now add the brain pieces ready
  9. Add to masala and mix lightly
  10. Your brain masala is ready to enjoy
