ABOUT Multi grain thepla RECIPE

A heathy version of thepla. It can be had any time and as main dish also. Can be served with tea or coffee ,with or without pickle.Cool it completely and pack in foil and take along while travelling. Does not go stale for 6 days.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 cup makki ka atta
  2. 1/2 cup bajra atta
  3. 1/2 cup ragi ka atta
  4. 1 cup Wheat Flour
  5. 1 tsp oil
  6. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli pd.
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp Salt
  10. 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida
  11. 1 small green chilli very finely chopped
  12. 2 tsp fresh methi leaves very finely chopped
  13. 2 tbspns curd
  14. 2 tbspns milk

Instructions

  1. Take all the flours in a bowl and mix .
  2. To this add all the other ingredients and mix well
  3. Make a soft dough .
  4. Add water if only required.
  5. Keep the dough covered for 10 minutes .
  6. Make equal sized balls .
  7. Roll each dough ball into a very thin and small chapati .
  8. Heat the tawa.
  9. Make the theplas using very little oil
  10. Serve hot or at room temperature.
