A street food typically Karnataka style..hats off to my maid who taught me this in Bengaluru.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dosa is 3:1 cups of boiled rice and urad dal soak over night
  2. For lemon rice- one cup boiled rice
  3. Haldi 1/2 tsp
  4. Rai 1/2 tsp
  5. Curry leaves
  6. Salt
  7. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  8. Oil 1 tsp
  9. Chutney- coconut 1/2 cup
  10. Daliya dai 1/2 cup
  11. Curry leaves a few
  12. For aloo ka masala- Boiled aloo 2
  13. Oil a tsp
  14. Rai- 1/2 tsp
  15. Haldi- 1/2 tsp
  16. Curry patta- a few
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak, grind and ferment for dosa batter. Make the dosas.
  2. For chutney grind all together and add salt.
  3. Lemon rice- boil rice and keep in a kadai add oil a tsp add rai, haldi curry, leaves and rice, add salt to taste.
  4. In a pan add oil, rai, curry leaves, haldi and add the boiled potato, add salt. Mix well.
  5. Make a dosa, place rice in the centre, add aloo ka masala , roll n serve hot with chutney.
