ABOUT Ghee Dosa RECIPE

Popularly called as "Tuppada dosa" in Karnataka. Very tasty and crispy. Keeps one craving for more.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. White lentil(Urad dal)- 1 cup
  2. Raw Rice - 3 cups
  3. Parboiled rice - 1 tbsp
  4. Chana dal - 1 tbsp
  5. Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Salt
  7. ghee

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak the rice and lentils overnight.
  2. Grind to a smooth batter. Add salt while grinding. Ferment the batter overnight.
  3. Heat a tawa. Add ghee. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread in circular motion on a low flame.
  4. Once the dosa is almost cooked drizzle a few drops of ghee over the sides of the dosa.
  5. Serve hot with chutney.
