Hyderabad Nizam Mughal biryani, made in my way !! we love biryani especially for dinner party occasions at home. Follow this recipe to make this for your loved ones at home.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 1 kilogram of basmati rice
  2. one and half kg of meat
  3. 600g of onion
  4. 600 gram of tomato
  5. 150 gram of curd
  6. 1 tablespoon of garam masala
  7. Chile 8 numbers
  8. fried onion one cup
  9. raisin cashew almond all 25 g each
  10. coriander and mint leaf 25 g
  11. ghee and oil 150 grams
  12. For frying :
  13. cinnamon two sticks
  14. black cardamom 4 nos
  15. green cardamom 4 nos
  16. bayleaf two
  17. cloves 10 numbers
  18. Kashmiri Chilli powder in required quantity
  19. 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  20. Saffron or red food colour
  21. Salt as per your taste
  22. Ginger garlic paste 5 tbls

Instructions

  1. Grind the fried onions to form a paste.
  2. wash the mutton
  3. To the Mutton in a bowl, add curd ,ginger garlic paste ,chili powder and salt.
  4. marinate it for 1 hour
  5. Heat some oil in a pan, add cloves ,cinnamon, Cardamom, bay leaves and fry them. Add onion and saute for few minutes.
  6. Then add ginger garlic paste ,tomato, chilli powder followed by coriander and mint leaves
  7. Add chilli
  8. Add garam masala and stir.
  9. Add mutton and cook well
  10. In a vessel add water and once it starts boiling, add soaked basmathi rice , shahi jeera, Bay leaves .cook for 4 min cover the lid and filter it. Add the rice in masala and the lemon juice
  11. Add the fried onion. And the fried nuts
  12. Mix well. Add for 15 min dum it. Add the saffron or red food color and sprinkle in the masala
  13. Rest it for 5 minutes and serve hot.
