It is one of the typical keralan snack.Try to use ripe banana for this,what makes this unique...you can increase the amount of sugar in this depending open your sweetness....I fried this in plain refined oil but you could try this in coconut oil,thats how they make in kerala..Try it for sure your kids and all family will love it for sure...

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ripe banana -1
  2. Maida - 6 tbsp
  3. Sugar - 4 tbsp
  4. Baking soda/cooking soda - 1/4 tsp
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Red food colouring - a pinch
  7. Water as needed
  8. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Take sugar in a bowl
  2. Add some water
  3. Mix well so the sugar is melted
  4. Add in some flour make into smooth but thick batter
  5. Add in some baking soda
  6. Add in some cardamom powder
  7. Add in some food colour
  8. Mix all the battery well
  9. Take one ripe banana
  10. Peel it.cut it into rounds.
  11. Now drop them in batter
  12. Heat a pan with oil for deep frying
  13. Coat them all side and drop in hot oil
  14. Fry till golden
  15. Banana fritters are ready to serve
