ABOUT Pineapple Upside Down Cake RECIPE

Crunchy fruit and soft sponge,lovely combination. This is a perfect cake for all occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 250 gms all purpose flour
  2. 250 gms soft unsalted butter
  3. 250 gms castor sugsr
  4. 3 eggs
  5. Itesp baking powder
  6. 4 tbsp tinned pineapple juice
  7. 1/4 cup Milk
  8. 7 slices of tinned pineapple in juice drained
  9. 7 cherry
  10. 4 tbsp melted butter
  11. 1/3 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes
  2. Take a bowl,add sugar + butter beat till fluffy
  3. Add eggs one at a time and beat it for a minute
  4. Fold in the seived all purpose flour,baking powder .Add pineapple juice,mix well
  5. Add the milk and beat for a minute
  6. Grease a 9" pan pour the melted butter into the pan
  7. Add the brown sugar and spread evenly
  8. Place the sliced pineapple with a cherry in the center of each
  9. Pour the batter gently,and place in the oven
  10. Bake at 170℃ for 35 to 40 minutes or the skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean
  11. Remove the pan place a serving plate on top
  12. Invert the pan let remain inverted for 3 to 4 minutes,gently pat on top of the pan ,and remove it slowly.
  13. Upside down pineapple cake is ready,wait for it to cool completely and slice.
