ABOUT Cheese balls RECIPE

Soft,tender buttery rolls filled with a small piece of cheese and a sugar syrup glaze.It is great for breakfast,evening snack and as dessert too.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For dough
  2. All purpose flour _3 cup
  3. Warm milk_3/4 cup +1 table spoon
  4. Butter-4 and half table spoon (melted)
  5. Instant yeast_1 table spoon
  6. Sugar_4 and 1/2 table spoon
  7. Baking powder _1/2 tea spoon
  8. Salt_1/4 tea spoon
  9. Cream cheese _9( square )
  10. For pan
  11. butter _1 table spoon
  12. For Syrup
  13. sugar _2 cup
  14. Water_1 cup
  15. Lemon juice_3/4 tsp
  16. For brushing
  17. Milk_3 table spoon

Instructions

  1. For making dough
  2. In a large bowl sift together flour, salt,sugar,yeast and baking powder .
  3. Mix in the milk and butter to form a smooth dough.
  4. Knead for 10 minutes.
  5. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl,covered with a damp cloth.
  6. Keep it aside for 60 minutes.
  7. For sugar syrup
  8. In a pan combine sugar,water and lemon juice .
  9. Bring to boil and allow and all it to slightly thicken.
  10. Lightly oil and line the bottom of a baking pan.
  11. Divide the dough in to balls ,about 2_3 table spoon
  12. Take balls and add 1 tea spoon cream cheese in the centre.
  13. Place dough balls in to a lightly oiled and lined baking pan.
  14. Cover the pan and set aside for second rise for about 30 minutes.
  15. Preheat the oven to 200 degree celcius.
  16. Brush dough balls with milk.
  17. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  18. Remove from the oven and immediately pour the cooled syrup over the buns.
