ABOUT Teriyaki Chicken RECIPE

A comfort food of all times, this one is a sheer divine indulgence. Veggies can be of one's choice and replace them with any other according to availability of them and mainly the Season. Any number of veggies can be used too. It will never go better than this one with sweet and sour teriyaki sauce and all the goodness of a lovely meal at it's best.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken bone in 1 kg
  2. FOR THE TERIYAKI SAUCE ; Soy sauce 1/4 cup
  3. Sesame oil 2 tbsp
  4. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  5. Garlic minced 1 tsp
  6. Sugar 1 tbsp
  7. Salt 1 tsp
  8. White Vinegar 2 tsp
  9. CORN FLOUR 1 TBSP
  10. Water 2 tbsp
  11. Green bell peppers chopped 1 cup
  12. Avocado chopped 1/2 cup (optional)
  13. Sesame seeds 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all the ingredients listed under teriyaki sauce and bring to a boil until the sauce thickens for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Steam peppers and avocado until fork tender.
  4. Cook chicken in this sauce until done.
  5. Do not forget to sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Enjoy your meal!
