Crispy pomfret is also delicious and healthy to eat fish.There are proteins and Omega 3 .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 pomfret fish medium size
  2. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  3. 1 tea spoon black pepper powder
  4. 1 spoon lemon juice
  5. 2 spoon hang curd
  6. 1 spoon coriander powder
  7. 1 spoon red chilli powder
  8. 1 spoon ginger garlic paste
  9. 1/2 spoon fennel Powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 3-4 spoon oil
  12. 1/2 cup rava or semolina

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the pomfret fish properly and make gashes on both sides using a knife.
  2. Now we need to marinate fish , so add turmeric powder,salt , lemon juice,and black pepper powder and rub it properly on the fish. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Now next step take a bowl add ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder, fennel powder,hang curd, coriander powder mix all ingredients well.
  4. Now rub this Masala paste on the fish making sure to push the Masala inside the gashes.
  5. Marinate the fish for 30-40 minutes in fridge .
  6. Heat a pan ,add a mustard oil .
  7. Coat the marinated pomfret fish with semolina on a both sides.
  8. Put the pomfret fish on the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes on one side in a medium flame.
  9. Carefully flip the fish and cook on the other side too for 5-6 minutes. Make sure to not over cook the fish, otherwise it may become a dry.
  10. Sarve pan fried pomfret fish along with onion sliced and green chutney.
