Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mangalore cucumber medium sized 1
  2. Ivy gourd 1/4 kg
  3. Water 1/2 ltr
  4. Buttermilk 1-2 cup
  5. Grated coconut 1-2 cup
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Green chilli 1 -2
  8. For tempering..
  9. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli 1
  11. Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. CHOPPED AND WASHED MANGALORE CUCUMBER AND IVY GOURD
  2. ADD SALT AND WATER, PRESSURE COOK FOR ONE WHISTLE
  3. COMBINE GRATED COCONUT, GREEN CHILLI AND BUTTERMILK IN MIXIE JAR
  4. GRIND IN TO FINE PASTE
  5. AFTER A WHISTLE TURN OFF THE FLAME, ALLOW IT TO COOL
  6. OPEN THE LID
  7. CHECK THE COOKNESS
  8. ADD GROUND COCONUT
  9. ADD SOME WATER
  10. MIX WELL
  11. BRING IT TO BOIL, WHEN BUBBLE STARTS, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  12. TEMPERING
  13. ADD TEMPERING, MIX WELL AND COVER A LID
