This is a recipe of delicious radish sambhar to be served with some hot rice on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw mangoes [chopped] 1
  2. Radish [chopped] 3
  3. Toor dal [boiled] 1 cup
  4. Tiny shallots 10
  5. Tomato [chopped] 3
  6. Sambar powder 1tspn
  7. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  8. Salt
  9. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  10. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. HEAT A PAN WITH SOME OIL. ADD THE MUSTARD SEEDS, FOLLOWED BY THE SMALL ONIONS.
  2. SAUTE FOR SOMETIME AND THEN ADD THE CHOPPED RADISH. COOK FOR FEW MINUTES.
  3. THEN ADD THE CHOPPED TOMATOES FOLLOWED BY THE POWDERED SPICES AND SALT.
  4. ADD THE RAW MANGO PIECES. COOK FOR FEW MINUTES AND THEN ADD THE TOOR DAL, WATER.
  5. COOK UNTIL DONE, CHECK FOR SEASONING AND SERVE.
