ABOUT Chickpea Mayo Veggie Burger RECIPE

My Chickpea Burger is a real stunner. It is so easy to prepare the chickpea patties with dollops of Funfood's veg Mayonnaise makes this one of the best vegan burgers you have ever tried.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups boiled Chickpeas
  2. 1/2 cup oats flour
  3. 4 tbsp Onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 teaspoon, grated Ginger
  5. 1/2 teaspoon grated Garlic
  6. 2 green Chilli or jalapeno, finely chopped
  7. 4 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
  8. 3/4 teaspoon garam Masala powder
  9. 1 teaspoon chaat Masala powder
  10. 3-4 tbsp oil
  11. Salt to taste
  12. For Serving:
  13. Onion rings
  14. Tomato slices
  15. Lettuce leaves
  16. Funfood's Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. IN A LARGE BOWL, COARSELY MASH THE 2 CUP BOILED CHICKPEAS
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP OATS FLOUR, 3 TBSP ONION, 1 TSP GINGER, 1/2 TSP GARLIC ( GRATED)
  3. 2 GREEN CHILLIES, 1 TBSP ROASTED SESAME SEEDS, 1/2 TSP BLACK SALT 3/4 TSP GARAM MASALA
  4. SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP CHAT MASALA, 4 TBSP FRESH CORIANDER, 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  5. MIX WELL
  6. MAKE THE PATTIES
  7. CHILL IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR HALF AN HOUR (OPTIONAL).
  8. HEAT 4 TBSP OIL IN A PAN
  9. FRY THE PATTIES
  10. FROM BOTH SIDES TILL GOLDEN
  11. TRANSFER ON PAPER TOWEL
  12. APPLY A SPOON FULL OF FUNFOOD'S VEG MAYONNAISE ON BURGER
  13. SPREAD IT EVENLY
  14. ARRANGE THE LETTUCE, TOMATO & ONION SLICES
  15. PLACE THE PATTIES AND DOLLOP OF MAYONNAISE
  16. CHICKPEA, MAYO, VEGGIE BURGERS IS READY
