Crispy chicken flower pie is a great snacks/ tiffin item for evening or school days.it would be a good party snacks option too .it is a all time favourite snacks.u can make a twist on this recipe just using any kind of solid veg instead of ckicken.its veg version is superb also.it is a good source of high protein.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. All purpose flour. 1 cup
  2. Semolina/ suji. 3 tbs
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar. 1&1/2 tsp
  5. Nigella seeds. 1/2 tbs
  6. Midium hot water. 65ml
  7. Oil 1 tbs
  8. Filling:
  9. Chicken/any veg. 1&1/2 cup
  10. Chopped onion. 1/2 cup
  11. Chopped tomatoes. 1/3 cup
  12. Shredded ginger. 1/2 tbs
  13. Coriander powder. 1 tsp
  14. Cumin powder. I tsp
  15. Allspice powder. 1/3 tsp
  16. Salt. As to taste
  17. Red chilli powder 1/2 tbs
  18. Tarmaric Powder. 1/2 tsp
  19. Chopped green chilli. I tbs
  20. Green coriander leaves.chopped. 3 tbs
  21. Sufficient oil for deep frying.

Instructions

  1. CRISPY FRIED MEAT PIE
  2. MINCED CHICKEN, ONION, SHREDDED GINGER, CHOPPED TOMATOES, NIGELLA SEEDS, SHREDDED POTATOES.
  3. CORIANDER POWDER, CUMIN POWDER, ALL SPICE POWDER, GREEN CHILLI,SALT,APF, SEMOLINA,OIL, SUGAR, WATER.
  4. TAKE APF, SUGAR, SEMOLINA,1TBS OIL,SALT, NIGELLA SEEDS IN A BOWL AND MIX WELL.
  5. ADD SUFFICIENT WARM WATER. MAKE TIGHT DOUGH ,KNEADING VERY WELL.
  6. MAKE A TIGHT DOUGH. LET IT REST FOR 15 MINUTES IN COVERED.
  7. ADD 1&1/2 TBS VEG OIL IN A NON STICKY PAN.
  8. ADD CINAMON STICK, CHOPPED ONION IN HOT OIL.
  9. ADD CORIANDER POWDER, CINNAMON POWDER,RED CHILLI POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER,SALT IN LAPSE.STIR WELL.
  10. ADD CHICKEN, CHOPPED POTATOES,SALT, GINGER,STIR FRY IT.
  11. ADD GREEN CHILLI, CHOPPED TOMATOES,ALL SPICES POWDER, STIR WELL.
  12. ADD GREEN CORIANDER ALLOW IT TO COOK IN LOW FLAME COVERED.
  13. FILLING IS READY.
  14. MAKE 5/6 CYLINDER SHAPED SMALL DOUGH TO MAKE LENGTHY ROTI.
  15. FLATTEN WITH ROLLING PIN MAKE LENGTHY 5 ROTIES.
  16. CUT ONE SIDE OF ROTI WITH A SHARP KNIFE.
  17. SPREAD FILLIING LENGTHWISE.ON OPPOSITE SIDE OF ROTI THAT U CUT.
  18. BRUSH WATER
  19. TWIST IT AND GIVE IT FLOWER SHAPE.
  20. CHICKEN FLOWER PIES ARE READY FOR FRYING.
  21. DEEP FRY ALL CHICKEN FLOWER PIES IN SUFFICIENT HOT OIL.
  22. FRY UNTIL ALL PIES GET PERFECT GOLDEN BROWN COLOUR.
  23. SERVE HOT WITH ANY KIND OF SAUCE OR CHAUTNY AS UR PREFERENCE.
