Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Bottle gourd grated-11/2 cup(excess liquid squeezed out)
  2. Ghee-4 tablespoon
  3. malai mawa or regular mawa-1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder -1/2 teaspoon
  5. Sugar powder- 2 cup
  6. Butter or oil-1/4 cup
  7. Milk -1/2 cup
  8. All purpose flour-11/2 cup
  9. Baking soda-1/2 teaspoon
  10. Baking powder-3/4 teaspoon
  11. Oil for greasing baking dish
  12. Almonds -6-8 nos.(chopped)

Instructions

  1. Squeeze out excess water From 1.5 cups grated bottle Gourd
  2. Stir fry in 4 tablespoon hot for 2-3 Minutes and take off heat
  3. Add 1/2 cup khoya
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom Powder and set aside
  5. Add 1/4 cup oil into 2 cups Powdered sugar and mix
  6. Add 1/2 cup milk
  7. Make a smooth paste
  8. Add in the bottle gourd- Khoya mix
  9. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda into 1.5 cups sieved flour
  10. Add 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  11. Add 3 tablespoon raisins
  12. Add the liquid mixture into This
  13. Mix into a smooth batter
  14. Pour it into a greased Baking dish
  15. Sprinkle a handful of Almonds and tap the baking Dish
  16. Bake at 160 degrees in a pre Heated oven for 25 minutes for Till done
  17. Cool, unmould, cut into Squares and serve
